France and China pull Peugeot Citroen from swamp
French state intervene in the rescue of the automobile concern PSA Peugeot Citroen, pouring it 1.5 billion euros. So the automaker will remain French, even the shareholding of the Chinese company '' Dongfeng '' told '' Le Parisien '' of French industry minister Arnaud Montebur.

Peugeot Citroen was negotiating with Chinese automobile company Dongfeng to conclude the alliance and strengthen its financial position. For this purpose on 12-13 October the French government delegation visited China.
According to the TV channel BFM, the new plan provides powerful financial injection - Peugeot will receive from the French state € 1.5 billion. Similar amount will be translated and partners Dongfeng. As a result of this operation, France and the Chinese company will become the largest shareholder in Peugeot - they will have from 20 to 30% of the capital of the automobile company. Their share may not exceed the share of Peugeot family, which is currently 25.4%.
French Economy Minister Pierre Moscovici noted that Peugeot's management adheres to the course of "expanding relations" with its partners, particularly with General Motors and Dongfeng.
2012 Peugeot suffered losses of 5 billion euros. From January to August this year the company's sales in Europe fell by 12.3%. Currently funding company bank "Peugeot Finance" practical is under state control.
