Double victory for Hyundai Rally "Germany"

Thierry Neuville and Dani Sordo brought the first double win for Hyundai Shell World Rally Team
Belgian Thierry Neuville with Hyundai i20 WRC won the 3-day asphalt rally "Germany" and bring the first victory for the brand in the World Rally Championship. Even better is that we managed to qualify for the first and second place in our home race. I want to thank especially my mechanics. They worked very hard to repair the car after turning us on Thursday, which makes our victory even sweeter. But we had three days of competition and we were able to tread firmly throttle. Of course, not happy that Jari-Matti (Latvala) and Chris (Meek) dropped, but it helped us to be more concentrated. The conditions were very difficult, so I had to be careful until the very end. The result is amazing and we will never forget it. "
For team-mate Thierry - Dani Sordo, start in Germany was also very successful. Last year's winner in the race was not included in the WRC round in May, but quickly adapted to the car and gave good times in the stages from start to finish. The Spaniard fought hard for victory, but lost time on Saturday after being spun as a result of hydroplaning. Sordo but she held it tight gas and after removal of Latvala and Meek managed to get to the podium, which is the first of this season.
