This 8-Year-Old Was Told She'd Never Dance Again, But She Proved Them Wrong

On May 6, 2014, Alissa Sizemore lost her right foot after being run over by a truck. The damage from the accident required her leg to be amputated just below the knee, changing Alissa's life as she knew it. With the support of her family and community, Alissa recovered and got a prosthetic leg, and returned to dancing. This is her first rehearsal since the accident, and it's evident that she loves what she does.
