"Porsche" wins € 16,590 on a car

The European car market fell to its lowest level in 17 years. This has led to a not very pleasant trend for regular buyer, namely - that's the end of the huge bonuses and rebates, and automobile giants light-by-light began to raise prices of their products and most of them began to earn quite decent from each units sold. According to a study by the Center for Automotive Research (CAR) at the University of Duisburg - Essen best in this respect are Toyota and Porsche. Japanese for decent margin and huge turnover, and the legendary German brand, because earning an average of € 16,590 each item sold!
Toyota is a plus in the first six months of the year from each placed a car with 1801 euros before interest and taxes, or about 9 percent margin. Last year the Japanese won only 707 euros per car and a profit margin of 3.5 per cent. The difference results mainly from the depreciation of the yen.
When Porsche profit from each vehicle is whole 18.4% of the price to reach those 16,590 euros. Thus the Germans are far ahead of Ferrari-Maserati (15 000 per car), Audi-VW (€ 3,821), BMW (€ 3,495) and Mercedes (€ 2,012).
The largest German manufacturer Volkswagen harvested only by 629 euros from selling a car or a gain of 3%. Last year, VW had taken on 751 euros a car, but because of discounts and high costs amount this year has decreased. Koreans from Hyundai-Kia are far ahead with € 1,027 of shitnato vehicle in Hyundai and € 911 in Kia. "Hyundai-Kia is a company that is fighting for leadership in the global market", says the study of German specialists.
According to the survey of university many European manufacturers have improved their condition compared to 2012.. Most have cut their losses by Fiat. The Italian company lost 130 euros per car sold, while last year the situation was desperate - for € 384. Seat is minus 164 euros during the first six months, at € 364 in 2012, the European business of US auto giant General Motors - Opel, now lost € 414 per unit sold, while last year the figure was 834 euros. By Ford-Europe also reduced - from minus € 843 instead of € 967. French group Peugeot-Citroen (PSA) pulled even loss of € 349 from 510. Renault however lose more this year - 457 euros in the first six months, at € 241 in 2012..
According to automotive expert Professor. Ferdinand Dudenhofer all these figures are an indication that efforts to rescue troubled companies are starting to bear fruit.
Otherwise, the reason for the reduction of losses of mass car manufacturers in Europe is due solely to the contraction of output and reducing the costs of the companies.
PSA closed its factory near Paris, Opel decided to close the doors of the factory in Bochum and the balance of the two companies is improving. The European branch of Ford does is in the process of closing down factories in the Belgian city of Genk and Southampton English.
