Modification of Lazzarini studio develops a power of 738 hp
Italian Lazzarini Design Studio presented its version of the sport coupe Alfa Romeo 4C, which is named Definitiva. In it the company's specialists have replaced the standard 4-cylinder engine with a V8 engine of the Ferrari.
In its standard version Alfa Romeo 4C is equipped with a 1.75-liter engine, developing power of 240 hp and 6-speed dual-clutch transmission. This allows the car to accelerate from 0 to 100 km / h in 4.5 seconds and reach a top speed of 250 km / h.
In the studio Lazzarini have put Coupe 4.3-liter V8 of the previous generation of the Ferrari California. The engine is equipped with 2 additional turbo-compressor of the American company Hennessey and so the power of 490 hp increases to 738 hp The maximum torque is 720 Nm.
Tuning experts say that after the change Alfa Romeo 4C will accelerate from 0 to 96 km / h (60 miles) in about 2.5 seconds and a distance of ¼ mile will be covered in only 9.5 seconds. When the speed of the machine at the end of this distance will be increased to 220 km / h.
Vehicle weight will be about 995 kg, it will be offered with an aerodynamic package with carbon fiber and rear antikrilo. The project is not yet complete, as assessed by Lazzarini model around € 250,000.
